When the first note of the brass band echoes through the Hacker-Festzelt in September, we know: We're home again. As Die Kirchdorfer, we've been setting the pace at Munich's Oktoberfest for over 30 years, experiencing the unparalleled energy of the Wiesn directly from the stage. For us, the world's largest folk festival isn't just an event, but pure passion and Bavarian tradition.
Every year, the Theresienwiese transforms into a sea of dirndls and lederhosen as enthusiastic first-time visitors and seasoned tradition enthusiasts flock to Munich for Oktoberfest. It's that magical moment when the first chords of "Prosit der Gemütlichkeit" ring out and thousands of hands simultaneously raise their beer steins and drinks. In the beer tents, Bavarian coziness and international party spirit merge into a unique blend found nowhere else in the world.
Our goal as an Oktoberfest band is to bridge the gap between classic brass band music and modern party anthems. When the tent is rocking and the guests are dancing on the benches, we feel the joy of life that makes Munich's Oktoberfest so unique. It's the attention to detail, the scent of roasted almonds, and the warm atmosphere that motivate us year after year to give our all for our audience.
