THE KIRCHDORFER Oktoberfestband performing means performing live - without any exception at all. Bandleader Thomas Wohlschläger: "You can only play authentically if you perform live! We are able to sense the mood within the tent, to accompany it, to support it or sometimes even to slow it down. That doesn´t work with half or full playback."
Since 2018 THE KIRCHDORFER® Oktoberfestband is playing as well at the greatest Strong beer festival worldwide on the Nockherberg of the Paulaner brewery in Munich: 24 days full speed! Of course live! When the "mountain is calling" the people of Munich and Bavaria do their pilgrimage to the Nockherberg - according to the motto: Oktoberfest is over, strong beer festival is coming. Just like the Oktoberfest the strong beer festival is part of the festive season and of the famous Munich way of living.
The Oktoberfest is so famous and successful that there are now numerous Oktoberfests around the world. In order to get as close as possible to the mood of the original, DIE KIRCHDORFER® Oktoberfestband is also invited to play at many international Oktoberfest festivals. The successful band can now look back on over 100 tours in 19 countries.
